Countryside Matters

THE PROTECTION AND ENHANCEMENT OF THE COUNTRYSIDE is one of the RA’s principal aims. In furtherance of this objective each county in North Wales has a countryside officer who is a member of the appropriate county committees.

Countryside officers monitor the county planning application lists and respond to those applications judged to be a threat to the countryside.
