“GET OFF MY LAND!”
BLOCKED PATH?
BARBED WIRE?
NO STILE OR SIGN?
Path problems are many and various. One thing they have in common is that they
don’t sort themselves out. You must first of all make sure that the problem
is known to the Local Council responsible and to the RA Footpath Secretary.
You can do this by writing to the addresses listed below, depending on the location of the path. It is important that the location of the problem is clearly stated, with a map reference if possible. O.S. Explorer maps give an explanation of the National Grid.
Write to the Council concerned (rather than phone), and send a copy of your
letter to your County Footpath Secretary. If you are not sure which council,
write to the RA Wales (2 copies) and details will be passed on to the council.
Click Here to go to the Footpaths Complaint Form at The Ramblers' Association.
The other thing you can do is to offer your services as a footpath worker, either individually or by joining your local Group on a project. Why not have a go?
