Our walk list currently shows walks from only some of our groups. We hope to have a full list again shortly but please contact your local group if their walks are not showing. Sorry!

This area of the Ramblers covers the North Wales counties of Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Wrexham and Ynys Môn.
Welcome to our website. North Wales is one of the most varied and stunning parts of the UK for walking. It covers the Eryri National Park and three areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Anglesey/Ynys Môn coast, the Llyn Peninsula and the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley. We have wonderful coastlines and mountains; quiet rural areas; history; culture; wildlife and habitats. We want people who live here, as well as visitors, to be able to enjoy exploring this wonderful area.

The Ramblers help local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. Our Area and Groups help look after paths and green spaces, open up new places to explore and act as the leading voice on walking matters near you.
We also work with and support our local groups. We can help you to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness.

In North Wales there are 9 Ramblers Groups. In a normal year these Groups offer a varied programme of over 600 guided walks per year. These are led by Ramblers volunteer members. We have walks to suit all tastes. New or potential members are welcome on all our walks. It is often advisable to contact the leader of a walk beforehand for details of the walk and sometimes it may be necessary to book a place on a walk. For more information about our groups click HERE.
North Wales Ramblers are committed to protecting the footpaths in North Wales. We are actively working to ensure that the area has a good quality network of footpaths. To find out more or become involved in this work click HERE.
We are proud of our achievements in protecting and improving the rights of way in North Wales. We are committed to ensuring that the paths are open and continually improved.
